
We were very exited to receive this item for our newly restored second story balcony. I do not generally leave reviews, but felt compelled to share my negative experience with this company. The item was of poor quality, I assembled the item and found that the finished metal wrapped on all of the feet of the item was dented and or damaged. Ok, that is fine, I will still roll with it. thinking that no one will see the feet. I got the items assembled ( I am a contractor and know how to assemble an item) and all of the pieces would rock back and forth. The pieces have no means for leveling the feet. The only option would be to literally contort the pieces into square so that they would no longer rock and become stable. The instructions say to tighten all screws sequentially so the items level out, which I did.and it still did not help. The attachment points for the pieces were not very strong, so I did not feel comfortable to bend the pieces into being square, thinking that the screws or threads may break. We sat on the pieces and the cushions were very uncomfortable and thin. Ok, so I realized, this item has got to go back.I contacted the seller and was helped by a person named Daisy, she sent us an email with instructions saying to pack the item in the original box, other wise they would not return the item.( which we did), ship the item, send tracking info and then send her the receipt so she could refund our account. I sent her the receipt and around 8 hours later, Daisy sends me an email saying that her company will not refund the shipping and that we could only use the attached label that she now attached to the latest email and that she could no longer help me. After the item was already shipped and she had the tracking number based on her instructions.I had to call Customer Service with Walmart, the customer service agent was really help full and she reviewed the conversation that I had with Daisy. Walmart refunded my shipping fee of $260.00 and apologized for the policy of this company. I really do not feel that it was Walmart's issue to have to pay the shipping, but I accepted it. I hope they get the money back from Phi Villa.I just want to let any potential buyers know to beware that if you buy furniture from this company, expect that the reasonable pricing will equate into a very cheap built item from China that will not last more than 4 seasons and that if you have an issue, the company tries to trick you out of getting a refund. I have been a Prime member for many years and this is the first issue that I have had with a seller out of all of these years. Again Buyer beware! with Phi Villa
