Review on πŸ”Œ BTMETER BT-6688B Megohmmeter: High Accuracy Digital Insulation Resistance Tester by Joshua Wheeler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Device works, no instructions

Not calibrated or thoroughly tested but works for my use. No wonder this doesn't work for some people considering it costs 1/10 (or less) the cost of good quality. I really think some people writing reviews say it didn't work, just maybe misused (e.g. reading - the resistor only shows "1" - it's the same as what it shows, if it's not connected to the circuit at all, you'll have to check it (very carefully, or not at all a badly insulated circuit, or (more carefully) directly to the chain.) But you can hardly blame people for not knowing how to use it correctly, as the instructions read as if they were written by an AI generative writing system: the words are English and the syntax looks English enough, but that definitely doesn't make it English. Meaning. It's probably most best to just ignore the instructions and open up a youtube video of someone demonstrating the use of a battery powered megger and save your interpretation of ionic energy for Your next trip to India.
