My 5 year old son goes through these things like crazy. If he has a traditional headset, he will sit on it and break it; if he has rubber earpads, he rips them off and loses them; if he has thin wires, he'll chew on them and they'll stop ringing (we won't even think of wireless headphones). because they will be lost in a few minutes). If we could use them for a week, that was an achievement. So it came down to either just not buying them anymore (which takes my time listening to the most disgusting YouTube kids shows imaginable) or finding something that stands up to abuse (and I get a few minutes rest during quarantine). We've had them for over a month now and they're still working after a lot of abuse. We don't use the mic much, but as far as sound and decent quality go, they're excellent. They are very loud and I have to make sure to turn the volume down before giving my son his set or they will blow his eardrums. My teenager (who has expensive headphones) wants a pair because she loves that the cord never gets tangled. They were worth the price just because they helped me avoid the tone of Ryan's toy critique and many other shows made to torment adults.
