Works well for retinning a moderately oxidized iron tip.
Worked very well. The flux is hard and dry, but that doesn't matter since it's only used to clean the soldering tip anyway. Dip the hot soldering iron tip into the flux. (Avoid breathing vapors)2. Apply high quality solder to the tip.3. Remove excess solder and clean the tip by sticking it in brass wool.4. Repeat the whole process until you get the desired results.
