These flashlights are brightly colored. Better than I expected. I have many similar ones in black but often they are as lost as "I can't see my nose in front of my face". They came in individual boxes and were therefore suitable for individual gifts. Like I said, I can't see very well. It is very easy to install the battery holder upside down in this kind of flashlight and the flashlight will not work. This is the first time I've noticed the useful arrow on the battery holder. I have plenty of them handy for reading "stylish" dials on AV gear.
