When I first got the DP version of this KVM, I used a monitor. As soon as I hooked up the second monitor, I found my applications moved to the main monitor after switching inputs. Unfortunately this was past my return deadline. I did a little research and came across EDID. In short, without EDID in KVM, your computer will forget that there are two monitors when you switch inputs. I would never have bought this KVM if I knew I would have to move windows back to the second monitor after every input switch. At least I would like to see a warning in the description that this does NOT support EDID.
