Pain when switching on and off

I'll start with the good news. These bricks light up and go well with other Lego figures. The colors are cheerful and bright. The bad news is that they are very difficult to turn on and off. It's too hard for kids and frankly very hard for me as an adult. They don't turn off automatically after a certain amount of time. So if you don't turn them off, the batteries will die. The kit includes these little black pins that fit into the hole on the side of the stone. Then twist it (sometimes with your teeth) to turn it off. Cool concept. If it had a better on/off switch I would love them.
