After wearing her watch with the original Garmin strap for over a year with no problems, I replaced it for my daughter. She noticed that after a pause the watch fell out of the strap the first day I changed the strap so we no longer have $60 watches! In a year+ she never took it off to play, shower, swim etc so I know it wasn't on purpose. I bought a different brand (solid color) for my other daughter and everything was fine. So if you don't care that the device is lost and the bracelet becomes unusable, buy it, otherwise keep buying!
