Ok, not exactly what the manufacturer says, but I bought this unit to dry and heat the PLA/ABS/TPU filament of my FDM printer. I ended up cutting out the center of the trays and it fits the full size roll perfectly. Temperatures are high enough that it seems to be working perfectly. I usually lay down the filament an hour or two before printing and it seems to work fantastically as it reduces the chance of brittle filament just breaking when the extruder reverses (or under extreme bends). For the price, it's fantastic (IMHO) for this type of use.
