Somewhere between "good" and "good". Requires manual force to install. I didn't try to take it out. Keeps the tablet thin and light enough, which isn't a priority for me. Seems protective enough, although I would go for a little more weight and thickness for the built-in screen protector. Volume high/low controls can be tricky to define, a more tactical definition is required. The material on the outer edge is harder than I expected, is not very grippy in the hand and slips on hard surfaces. Doesn't make much of a difference in landscape mode with Kikstand, but since the stand doesn't work in portrait mode, the lack of support makes getting up and leaning on it difficult. Kikstand's seams are strong enough to lay flat on your back for more comfortable typing.
