📱 Spigen Tough Armor TECH Galaxy Tab S5e Case (2019) - Black Review

Very disappointed with the Spigen design on this screen! I've had cases from their brand before and they've usually been really great. However, this is a waste of money. The problem is that the case is designed to fit too tightly. It squeezes the sides of the tablet together, and if you have a screen protector, the pressure pushes the sides of the screen protector back. There's no point in having a case that only protects the back of your tablet if you can't take a screen protector with you.

I was nervous before buying. I have a Samsung Galaxy s9 and it has an OtterBox case on it. I wanted something thin and I wanted it to fully protect him. I don't think I could wish for better. It's very thin and totally durable, and it also has a kickstand. Incredible purchase. Thanks very much!

The body feels solid and seems to be able to withstand a fall. This stand is incredibly frustrating and difficult to get out of the main body. I have to use whatever I have on hand to get the footboard out without risking my nails. Better do Spigen!

Be careful and read everything carefully. I bought it to protect my screen but when it arrived it didn't come with a screen protector. I re-read the description and realized that the "raised bezels" were meant to protect my screen. I had to return it but I found one that fully protects my tablet and is actually cheaper than this one.

Somewhere between "good" and "good". Requires manual force to install. I didn't try to take it out. Keeps the tablet thin and light enough, which isn't a priority for me. Seems protective enough, although I would go for a little more weight and thickness for the built-in screen protector. Volume high/low controls can be tricky to define, a more tactical definition is required. The material on the outer edge is harder than I expected, is not very grippy in the hand and slips on hard surfaces…

Very good case. I've used a folio style case for my tablet in the past but couldn't find one that I really liked for my new Samsung s5e. I figured since I use this style on my phone I'd try it on my tablet too - along with a tempered glass screen protector. I ordered this case along with 3 SPARIN screen protectors. I have had many tablets over the years and usually prefer the book format with the magnetic front flap. With the S5e, I wanted constant access to the screen, but also needed a kickstand feature. Spigen was exactly what I wanted. Combined with the tempered glass screen protector, I'm not afraid to carry it around without the traditional front cover. The power button cutout is convenient for fingerprint scanning. Simply a great product!
