I didn't have these in stock yet but got to use them a few times this week helping out with some traffic accidents on the way home during a storm. They provide adequate abrasion protection as well as joint protection, although they are not rigid plastic joints. The material appears to be a hardened type of nylon covered in some type of softer plastic material that offers enough protection at the moment that I wasn't worried about hitting my knuckle while helping the patient pull it out. For off-hours use I'd say they work well. Will update later if I run into any problems. The sizing was accurate from the website, I have a 10.5 inch palm width from the knuckle of my index finger to the best part of the hand at the outer edge. Gloves fit well and do not pinch.
