I originally bought the AudioTechnica 2020+ USB although the sound was great and it worked after reading and looking at the reviews. The 3 key features of the HyperX Quadcast caught my eye. First, Quadcast's physical control is a gift from God. Physical control over gain levels on the fly is a must if you plan to stream Twitch. It really makes things surprisingly easy when you're trying to focus on the game. Another standout feature is the built in pop filter and while it works reasonably well I would still recommend an additional pop filter to really clean up the sound. Speaking of the touch sensor and backlight control, it's easy to quickly mute the audio while streaming. and always tells me AND my thread if I'm disabled. Last but not least it's 4 different recording options with quick switching, this makes the Quadcast super versatile when I decide to include someone in my stream by quickly switching from cardio to bi-directional on the fly. The most important part is of course the recording. qualitative. I can easily say that the Quadcast has much better mids, bass and treble, and fantastic aesthetics. not further!
