Review on Set Of 6 Aquasana Glass Water Bottles With BPA-Free Lids, 18 Oz Each by Ian Krump

Excellent! good for me

I waited on this purchase until I could read sufficient reviews stating others were in love with them. Succumbing to peer pressure, I made the purchase and am so happy I did!Refilling disposable water bottles these days is impractical. They're made of cheap, flimsy plastic and most caps are all but missing they're so small. These Aquasana glass bottles fill a niche in the market that was void for very long. They're clear, beautiful and clean up easily with the OXO bottle brush! If they get stained, throw in a little oxiclean/water or baking soda/vinegar and they're sparkling again! We have filled them with freshly pressed vegetable juice, water and store bought fruit juice. We still have all 6 bottles. No cracks, lid staining.nothing! The lids stay put. They haven't leaked, not even a little. They fit nicely and discretely in a briefcase or cup-holder in the car. I still double and triple check to make sure the lid is on tightly and then turn them all over to be sure again! Paranoia --yes. but still no leaks! Very, very nice!I am thoroughly impressed with these and will purchase more in the future.Edit: There is a silicone "o" ring that I never knew existed until recently. I was washing up the caps and found a foreign item on my counter. After looking through several items, I finally discovered that it popped out of the Aquasana lids! Aha! They pop back in nicely too. However, whether that ring is in our out, the bottle still does not leak! :)

Pros
  • Bottle your own - small enough to carry everywhere, big enough to quench your thirst. Entice yourself to drink more water. Bottles are dishwasher safe
Cons
  • The glass bottles may not be as durable as other materials, such as stainless steel or plastic, and may need to be replaced more frequently
