I was looking for a laptop stand that would allow me to use my laptop screen as a second monitor and free up space under my laptop. I also needed something strong enough to hold my dock so the plastic options wouldn't work for me. When this stand arrived I was amazed at how easy it was to put together and it even came with the extra screws and tools needed to put it together! I like that this stand is adjustable so it can be changed depending on the setup or user preference. Since I also use a KVM switch, I was able to fit my second laptop under the stand without taking up valuable additional desk space in my home office. Don't get stuck buying a new stand when replacing your laptop. As this stand is angled it is not designed to hold the monitor but as it is angled it will give you a better view of your laptop screen during long hours at home.
