I am 50 years old and in perimenopause. I have been suffering from swollen, heavy, sore breasts for about 3 years since my breasts went from 36 just under B to 36 DD. I've never been pregnant so I don't use them to breastfeed. But the shape of regular ice packs just didn't fit. It's the perfect shape to fit inside a bra so you can do whatever you need to do without falling out. They stay cold for over 30 minutes but never get too cold (I think it's because of the gel inside). I have other ice packs that I have to wrap in a towel because they're so cold they hurt, but that's not a problem. They're stiff when I take them out of the freezer but I can still bend them enough to put on a bra and they conform to my chest in just a few minutes and they're lightweight, about 9 ounces each. I haven't used them hot because I have a giant wet heating pad that I rotate so they can always be cold. Highly recommended for breast tenderness, swelling, pain, etc.!
