You're talking about rolling the dice.

I was 0 out of 2. I don't know if it's the computer I installed it in or if it's really old technology that has probably been idle for a while but I have bought two of them DIMMs, and within a month they both failed. bad and failed memtest86. I ended up just leaving the system they were on and building a new one.
