I love these things. This is the 3rd one I installed. I started with 8ga. Cables for a 250 watt amp and 1 60A 12" subwoofer, then upgraded to 4 GA. Wire for 400 watts, the same subwoofer, but with a breaker for 100 amps. I now have a 150 amp circuit breaker, a 750 watt amp and a dual 12 inch subwoofer. I've never blown a fuse using it, nor have I tripped the breaker on any system I've installed, but if I did, I'd definitely rather flip the switch than replace the fuse. This is after finding the cause of the short that worked at all!
