I believe they are, but not on my machine. The struts on my Saturn have slots in the bottom hole for adjustment. I bought these because the alignment specialist was whining about the alignment of my mom's car even though it's pretty much the same as mine. The technician said it was necessary. I think he just didn't know how to do the alignment. The installation instructions for them are not clear at all. I found instructions on the internet. Anyway, I've just installed my new frames and will take them to the straightening shop Monday through Tuesday and then let you know if they're needed for my Saturn SL. A NOTICE. I didn't install it due to factory adjustment. They are smaller and weaker than factory screws. WHEN ADJUSTING THIS, REMEMBER TO ADJUST TO A LOWER TORQUE AND NOT THE FACTORY RATED TORQUE FOR YOUR VEHICLE. The quality here is good. I was only looking for 4 because of the lack of detailed installation instructions.
