Audio under water + Apple = a match made in heaven. This thing turned an unbearably boring swim routine into a real treat. Now I swim with podcasts and this has increased my training time. I used to swim for 20-30 minutes before quitting out of boredom, but now I just keep swimming (45-60 minutes). So the bottom line is that it's the real deal, it's waterproof, it helps your workout, and it's easy to use. I will say one thing: the eartips that came with the order have never worked so well (and I've tried all the sizes of eartips that came with them). I just couldn't get filling and they fell out while swimming (I understand this may be an issue for some but not others). However, I have since purchased Underwater Audio round headphones and they work great. Highly recommended. Eventually, due to the sound of movement in the water and the bubbles whizzing past the headphones underwater when you exhale, I found that I had to turn the volume up really, really hard to listen to podcasts. I think with music it's not that important because you can tolerate occasional losses in sound clarity, but when you're trying to follow an argument or a comment you want to hear every word that means volume.
