These are the guys from NiCads. NiCads have memory

I'm sure all the positive feedback is coming from people who have just installed these batteries. I also liked them for 4-5 charges, and then they won't hold a charge. Then I noticed that these are nickel-cadmium batteries. Of course they are free of charge! The seller didn't lie. But ALL NiCADs have memory, which means that if you charge them before they are COMPLETELY dead, the remaining charge is the maximum they will hold from that point on. After a few charges, you'll be left with nothing. Little did I know that SOMEBODY still sells nickel cadmium batteries as far as new nickel metal hydride batteries go. These are disposable batteries - they definitely won't last the 5+ years that Tenergy claims. I have EBL and Revain Basics and since they are NiMH batteries they hold many, many charges.

Pros
  • Ultra long battery life. Rated for 2000 charge and discharge cycles, Tenergy Solla AA batteries last 4-5 times longer than standard NIMH AA batteries. The Tenergy Solla NIMH AA battery can power your solar lights for up to 5 years, you no longer need to change the solar lights battery every 1-2 years. Get more long-term savings when you replace traditional solar panels for garden lighting.
