I need to fit a GFCI into an old work box that was REALLY narrow and one of the leads was very short. These connectors allowed me to connect the wires together and get the job done. However, the guides must be STRAIGHT, otherwise it will be difficult to set them correctly. Planting wires in tight spots can be tricky, but once planted they hold up. I wouldn't use them in places subject to high levels of vibration and movement as the wiggling of the cord will separate the cord from the plug. I think they work best in a junction box.
