True it's yellow in color although people thought it might be gold but it's still a very cute design and works great. My office is decorated in glamorous shades of pink and purple, so this notebook suits me. It was delivered in less than 24 hours which was fantastic as I just received this desktop as a birthday gift and didn't have a mouse pad as I used a MacBook previously. The mouse didn't slide on my desk, so I was in dire need of a pad. I like that the seams are sewn in the corners and the mouse slides smoothly now :) I would buy more
