Worked great for all quilts and pieces of fabric I've used them on, but not rugs.
This is a great and economical way to hang quilts or pieces of fabric on the wall. In addition to driving nails or screws into the wall, 3M Command Planks can be used to secure it. I've seen several reviews from people who couldn't get these hangers to work for them. My experience is that they work well, often simple, sometimes it takes a few tries with fabrics and quilts. I couldn't get them to work on a smaller piece of carpet with a stiffer backing. For this I had to use mini ash pendants which worked great but were a bit pricey.
