This potion is almost bulletproof. I bought this product last season and wanted to see how it held up here in the Mojave Desert where pretty much everything succumbs to the hot desert sun. I have two young shepards who can farm several acres of land. Needless to say, they are thirsty. This product has a robust stainless steel construction with a float and valve assembly. which remains protected behind a hinged lid inside the bowl. This hinged cover makes it easy to clean the device and adjust the float to suit your needs. I easily connected a regular garden hose to the fitting that came with it. Thanks to the scorching sun in these areas I'm on tube #3. I suspect this device will definitely outlive me and my animals. Can it be improved? Of course. I would like to see an option with brass fittings and a float assembly. instead of the supplied plastic. I would be willing to pay a premium for such an option, as I'm sure many farmers and ranchers do.
