We bought this for my husband as he works from home and needs to do more home cam meetings in our unfinished basement. The light directly behind his head doesn't help. These photos show with and without lighting. The light works fine. It has the same disadvantage as any such light, which has to do with the ring-shaped reflection in his glasses (which is more likely to be reflected in your eyes if you don't have glasses), but that's how light works in general. nothing is missing. All in all it works well and does what it's supposed to.
