Review on 🍯 eos Super Soft Shea Lip Balm - Honey Apple, 24 Hour Hydration, Lip Moisturizer for Dry Lips, Gluten Free, 0.25 oz by Diane Lane

I have been into lip moisturizers for over 40 years. About 5 months ago my skin around my lips started cracking, peeling, peeling which I have not experienced since childhood. I've been using petroleum jelly/petroleum jelly every night before bed and after waking up and then some to hydrate my lips during the day for 30 years. If I go somewhere and don't take it with me, it's a big problem because my dry lips will burn. The lipstick is too thick and doesn't give the comfort I'm looking for. When I wear lipstick, it goes over my lip balm. I wanted to get away from oil and expected it to be a problem. I initially ordered 3 different brands of lip balm (2 orders were sets of 4-6 scents. In total I ordered: Sacred Shea Skincare, Golden Rose Nourishing Lip Prime Conditioner + Moisturizer + Vit E, USDA Organic Lip Balm by Sky Organics and Burt's Bees 100% Natural Ultra Moisturizing) are all natural products including beeswax, coconut oil and vitamin E (tocopherol) with no parabens, phthalates or petroleum. I would give all 4 stars. But I felt like I hadn't found "THAT". So I ordered 2 more products including this one. FOR MILES, THIS product wins. The tube lip balms I bought were "good" especially when they were 4-6 per box because then it wasn't a big deal that they ran out so quickly. But when I tried THAT?!?!?!?! It was like tasting chocolate and really enjoying it until you accidentally got a high quality chocolate truffle. Wow. Little did I know that lip balm could stay firm and long-lasting and still cover and moisturize so well. Serious. Anything else, if you put a little pressure on them, they will be crushed. Once they get "mushy," there's no way to fix it. You have to apply it with your finger until you get to a hard material. DON'T WORRY with EOS. After the 1st dome flattened from use I ordered 2 more. I then wanted to see how much pressure it would take to break this product against the used one. The dome of the balm is placed on a yellow holder in the shape of a wagon wheel. Even when I squeezed so hard it dented the wheel's "spokes," it didn't get sticky or soft. You would never press your lips so tight. I had to press firmly to 6 lumps to make it creamy (I've found a new use in the lid). I use it 5-6 times a day out of habit. I probably only need it twice a day. It's like getting new comfortable and well-fitting glasses that don't require you to lift your nose. You reach out your hand to push it up. AND UP. I reach for my lip balm and check my lips instead. Not necessary. So it lasts longer on the lips. You can feel the moisture and protection, but it's NOT heavy and pasty like lip balm (lip balm was all the news in the 1980's when scientists/doctors claimed it forced people to use more and more of it while it was lip balm more sensitive and more sensitive made prone to lips). Therefore, it was too difficult to stop using, which technically made the product addictive as it caused ulcers and pain when stopped). Since EOS consists of natural ingredients and is harmless to mucous membranes, I decided to try it: now I use it on my eyelids in every corner. The skin around my eyes feels so dry when I wake up in the morning. That's why I get a little wet inside at night and more importantly. the outside of each corner of the lid. Eliminates the feeling of dry eyelids in the morning. I'm in my 49s. New neighbors, people I meet at the stables, etc. EVERYONE thinks I'm 15 years younger than I really am. I give credit to my moisturizers. So if I can find one who does his job in a healthy way over the long term, I want to give him the 5 stars he deserves. Thank you EOS for a fantastic product and a price everyone can afford! Please keep it up! PS The taste is delicate and fresh, just like the aroma. I believe this is a gender neutral product as both boys and girls can enjoy its features. Men may not wear pink, but it doesn't have a bright sheen. I didn't know other fragrances until I wrote this one. I'm sure I'll love them too, but mint isn't my first choice. Honey Apple will definitely be my absolute favorite when it comes to lip comfort and it will continue to prevent those aging lip lines! (Maybe wrinkles around the eyes?!)
