I had an extension cord that was lying on the floor by the table which is ugly and difficult to hide. I saw this and thought it would be the perfect way to reduce clutter and hide power cords. It worked great. I had an extension cord with 6 plugs in one outlet and something else in a second outlet (7 plugs total) and this replaced it with this outlet extender. Although it only has 5 traditional ports, it has 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port for a total of 8 ports. The exit is behind the shredder and is completely covered. My wife likes less chaos. The connector alignment also solves several problems with overlapping connectors that are common with splitters. Very impressed - 5 stars!
