I assumed they had an aluminum or steel case and the black ones were painted. It turns out the black ones have a plastic case (although the pick still appears to be titanium). Not sure how it will hold up to the bumps, scrapes and pressure of being attached to my keys and riding in my pocket. most of the day, but at this price I'm willing to find out the hard way.
