I have to admit, when I placed the order, I felt like I was ordering some kind of gimmick for a nightly solicitation. But I was desperate. While it's never been wonderful, my eyebrows have been deteriorating since my 40's. Thin or empty areas, light hair make them appear uneven (one looks taller than the other), different shapes, and just all together. No matter what products I used, I made an effort to make them look like cousins. It works wonders. I was able to find a shape that matched my ideal natural eyebrow shape. Unlike most stencils, which go over the eyes one at a time, I was able to line up the stencil on BOTH brows at the same time, allowing me to find the perfect stencil that, when placed across, would fit both of my (mismatched) eyebrows ) Eyebrows. I had to fill in one eyebrow mainly at the top and the other mainly at the bottom. But after my brows are filled in, they look damn symmetrical. I've noticed that some reviews complain that the stencils are too flimsy. My brows are naturally thin to medium and I wanted something very natural. I didn't want to look like I painted huge caterpillars over the eyes or added so much width or shape that it looks unnatural to me. I think finding the perfect fit is a gamble with ANY set of brow stencils. This was one of the largest sets I've seen online so this is a good place to start if you may not be aware that you have very wide eyebrows. I found them very easy to use. I used it with brow powder and lipstick. Both worked very well. Even with the tape, I found I had to press it against the skin in certain places. It was just because of the curve of my brow bone. But the fact that it was taped in place meant all I had to do was press it against my skin when applying powder/lipstick to those areas to get a clear line. He never changed because of the band, which was nice. If it is lost or broken I would buy another without hesitation.
