Installation was easy. Installed in a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6ft bed and had enough cable to reach all the mounting points. I installed the ECU under the back seat and turned on the instrument panel. The only thing I had to do was extend the power wire and route it to the battery with a thicker wire, and I had to extend the wire from the power button to the control module. The cables could be longer. I also had two blown bulbs. I think they have a bad connection from the bulb side. One I can work on by pressing and releasing pressure on its back, and the other has a mind of its own. I can't figure out how to make it work stably. I have contacted the seller about replacing these bulbs and will let you know as soon as I know how they resolve the issues. Those minor issues aside, the kit itself is worth the money and I would recommend it for your project.
