The 2017 C7 Owner's Manual states this once a year. Works perfectly.
Goes seamlessly into rubber seals under the Corvette C7's convertible top and is specified in the instructions. Used a latex glove so there was no mess and it was easy to put on. Not much consumption, a tube should last for several years.
