Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch (46Mm by Kai Wen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

In summary, even with these shortcomings, I personally would call the Galaxy watch the best smart watch on the market at the moment, and here's why: - android wear is frankly miserable and inconvenient (had experience with LG G Watch R); - apple watch tested with iPhone 7+. There are a number of critical moments: they live MAXIMUM 2 days, terribly inconvenient control (turning a small crown is still "fun") and look awkward on my hand. Yes, and they only work with iPhone :) As for the galaxy watch, it's up to the small: come up with and implement your own Taptic Engine and rethink the logic of Samsung Pay. And there will be complete happiness :)

Pros
  • 1. Size. I have relatively large hands and watches with small dials are lost on them. There is complete order here. 2. Battery life. Compared to the previous ones (Gear S3 Frontier) a huge step forward. Frontiers lived for a maximum of 4 days (while they were new and without training), these under the same conditions easily give out 6-7 days, with training (pool, approx. 40 minutes once a week) - 5 days. Let's see how it goes. 3. Design. Yes, the changes compared to the previous generation are minimal. But the watch looks neat and elegant, it regularly pleases the eye. 4. Tracking swimming. I've only sailed with them a few times so far, but I've been very satisfied. A pool of 25 meters is determined unmistakably, I did not find any frank flaws in the track. It's great that you don't have to count the pools in your head anymore :) 5. Management. Convenient and thoughtful control logic - the bezel really helps out. 6. Standard strap attachment. A huge number of compatible options on aliexpress and a simple replacement procedure. Change every day :)
Cons
  • 1. The logic of Samsung Pay. First, hold down the button on the watch case, then press "pay" on the screen . It's all long and inconvenient, it's easier and faster to pay with a Google Pay phone. 2. When will samsas come up with their own analogue of the Apple Taptic engine? The ingenious thing is that you don’t even have to look at the clock, everything is perfectly clear by vibration. With samsas, such tricks will not work, the vibration is very monotonous and uninformative. 3. App store. 99.99% of the presented applications and dials are total slag and a . Fortunately, the watch has everything you need out of the box (at least for me).
