It will definitely alert you to the problem and ensure whatever you do to combat the splint is uncomfortable/painful. I don't like that it moves (I've tried tight, less tight, kind of tight, changing position, whatever) and I can't get it to sit comfortably. The motion of rubbing the orthosis with the hand/middle of the middle finger caused pain. A side effect of not bending my finger too much is sore spots. :/ I would recommend this to anyone as it gets the job done although I'm uncomfortable. People love it and the reviews are great for the most part, so it's clear it's working for people. Try it and see how you feel about it. The price is great so you can try it out without feeling like you've broken the bank.
