Review on Anxiety Calming Wrap for Dogs - Mellow Shirt by Tiffany Hart

Received the Mellow shirt on delivery date. Delivered quickly, packaging is ok. I have a 54 lb pit bull and bought a large one. I chose the large ones based on weight recommendations and the fact that pit bulls have a much broader chest than other breeds. I usually have to take larger shirts or collars to fit her chest and neck size. The photos provided by the company do not give a good picture of velcro. That's another reason why I went for the big one. However, for those who have large chest or neck dogs, you can choose a smaller size. Wednesday is best. The strap around my dog's neck was long enough for her. But the strap that wraps around her stomach is almost too long. The velcro is as tight as can be and I would have preferred it to be a little tighter. This is the first time we use such a product, so "live and learn". I'm going to leave this one and add another velcro to tighten and reinforce the small piece that will be used for the belly. I don't have time for an exchange because there are still a few days until July 4th. The rest of the shirt (stretch, colour, stitching etc.) is very satisfied. This shirt is made of a very soft material that stretches well. I think we'll see how well it holds its shape after a few uses. I ordered purple and it is exactly the same color as the company stated. The haircut looks great too. My only suggestion would be to have a wider piece of velcro to attach the waist belt. It's definitely on the skinny side. I will add an extra piece to make sure it doesn't come loose as she plays and rolls around on the carpet. I look forward to trying this product and seeing if it helps her. I really hope this works. If so, she and the rest of the family will be very happy. I keep my fingers crossed.
