Excellent quality. The sound is very good. I like flat wire because it doesn't tangle at all. I mainly use them at night for bedtime music and they are comfortable for that. They aren't as isolating as some of the others I have, but that's because others go deeper into the ear canal. You say it sounds like you're at a concert and I have to agree. There are no heavy basses or trebles, but produce a pleasant sound. I'm not a music lover, but I like headphones.
