I have been repairing broken hoses with tooth clamps for many years. Not only garden hoses, but also radiator hoses. Chinese brackets are useless. First I tried the smaller size, then the larger. Finger tightening removed both before setting the lowest torque to prevent hose leakage. In the automotive industry, you quickly learn not to over-tighten screws in aluminium. These clamps snapped with their teeth and ripped out the internal screw in a way I've never seen before. When trying to remove the clip, the "falling bolt" slipped out of its socket! Again something I've never seen before. Made in China? Yes. Rating and approval of China? Quite possible. I have no idea how these products are rated so highly, but they are there. Attention buyers, this product is rubbish.
