Review on Genuine Subaru H631SFJ101 Tweeter Kit by John Hickey

I knew Tacoma's paper tweeters were bad, but I just didn't realize how bad they were. I decided to keep the standard wiring harness and adapt it to this speaker with 1/4" connectors. They are firmly in place. No soldering, no welding. Just cut the wires from the old speaker and crimp the separator. I used heat shrink tubing to isolate the connectors from each other. Having originally upgraded the lower door speakers, there was something missing. These speakers, along with my other after sale speakers, really bring my stereo to life. They bring clarity and round out my audio system much better , than I expected.I would highly recommend them even for the second generation Tacoma if you are willing to put in some work.
