Bring the Tacoma sound to life on a budget!

They connect easily to Tacoma 16/17! If you have a stock Entune head unit and factory speakers, you may find the lack of clarity and depth of sound frustrating. I thought the door speakers were to blame for the muddy sound, but as it turns out, bad tweeters are mostly to blame. If you're looking for an affordable solution for your Tacoma that you can make plug and play, then this is for you. very happy!

  • Great price

They are ten times better than the factory speakers

They are perfect for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma dash tweeters. I did not purchase an enhanced audio system in my truck because I was planning to install an Android Auto device. They are 10x better than the factory speakers, really nice crisp high notes that don't buzz or sound in any way. Super easy application can take 30 minutes. While a bit pricey for just 2 tweeters, the straight fit, no connectors, and easy installation make up for the near-instant satisfaction.

Fits Tacoma 2nd Gen with mods

I knew Tacoma's paper tweeters were bad, but I just didn't realize how bad they were. I decided to keep the standard wiring harness and adapt it to this speaker with 1/4" connectors. They are firmly in place. No soldering, no welding. Just cut the wires from the old speaker and crimp the separator. I used heat shrink tubing to isolate the connectors from each other. Having originally upgraded the lower door speakers, there was something missing. These speakers, along with my other after sale…

Plug n Play on Toyota 4Runner

I've seen them work on Tacomas so I tried it on my 5th gen Toyota 4Runner with the non-JBL factory audio setup. They were straightforward and took about 10 minutes to install. Simply remove the speaker cover and remove two screws for each 10mm tweeter. Disconnect the factory plug from the original (cheap paper) tweeter, plug it into the new kicker tweeter and tighten the two screws. Reattach the speaker cover and that's it! The difference in sound was very clear. At first I just put the kicker…

Good price for a 2016 onwards Toyota Tacoma

I recently decided to upgrade the speakers in my 2018 Tacoma double cab while keeping the stock radio. I bought a pair of 6x9 component speakers and while installing the door woofer was a breeze, installing the in-dash speakers was a hassle. The OEM dash tweeters only have about 1.5 inches of slack in the wiring, so they cannot be pulled out far enough to connect the wiring for the new tweeters. To compound the problem, the OEM tweeter is plugged into a small base. / Crossover with cable input…

Pros
  • Rugged build
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Direct plug and play for 2015 Legacy. A great upgrade from the original paper cone speaker on my Premium trim level. Note: Only ONE of the two mounting screws will fit. I've found that one screw is enough to hold the tweeter in place, so I agree. Just understand again that only ONE screw will hold it. This thing is probably a lot more efficient (more responsive) than the OEM speaker, so the high frequencies sound better even with the stock head unit. I switched to those tweeters and replaced…

Ideal for upgrading non-JBL 5th Generation 4Runner system speakers.

I was trying to upgrade the 3.5" JBL speaker, which you probably saw on YouTube if you're looking at the 5th Gen 4Runner Dashboard Upgrades. I felt like JBL's famous titanium tweeters bouncing off my windscreen might not be the sound I was looking for, and it isn't. I took them out and sent them back. Nothing against JBL, these speakers just didn't work in this scenario. They were too loud and out of balance with the rest of the system and it wasn't my goal to replace everything. It just…
