Great laptop stand. I have a brand new MSI GS66 stealth gaming laptop which I think is getting pretty hot. It throttles to 99 degrees while gaming, which it does all the time. Not to say that the stand does not work, because after the game it cools down faster, and not during. Maybe it's my laptop with the problem so I'll skip the cooler. I can feel some air coming out from under the stand. You'll have to skip the fancy lighting, you won't see it on my setup anyway. All of my comments are for MY laptop, so your laptop may work better with or without this stand. The fan noise is very quiet, nothing can be heard in the gaming headphones.
