Review on ScorpionExo EXO T1200 Mainstay Helmet Medium by Chris Nonamaker

This is my third Scorpion helmet and for the price I love the comfort of the helmet. I installed my Cardo Pactalk Bold JBL communications systems in it with no problem, although I wish the speaker cutouts were a little larger in diameter to accommodate a 45mm wide speaker. The cutouts easily fit 32mm and 40mm drivers. I bought a gloss black and neon yellow helmet with a color changing chameleon on it. I wasn't sure if I would like it but after seeing it in person the color and chameleon effect are amazing. The helmet doesn't come with a dark visor so I ordered one. It does have a built in tinted drop down visor, which is great, but I still have a hard time looking directly at the sun with just that visor. This is just my opinion. Since I only received the helmet today and it has been raining all day, I have to try it out while riding. I will update my review with feedback when I do. The last thing that struck me is that the helmet is noticeably lighter than my previous polycarbonate Scorpion helmet. This helmet is made with their thermodynamic composite technology, which consists of a proprietary 5-layer blend of interwoven and specially developed fiberglass, aramid and organic polyresin fibers. Overall I couldn't be happier!
