Review on 🌞 30W Energy-Efficient Indoor Sunshine Spiral Bulb by Anthony Wiley

Impressive: compact fluorescent lamps

When you buy this light bulb, you must first understand the color temperature of the light. If you don't research. This lamp claims a color rendering index of 95%. I also have 5000K TCP lamps with a claimed color rendering index of 82%. I will say that the indoor sunlight lamp looks much better. I expected better color rendering to account for the difference, but there is another factor. In fact, when I compare them side by side, the color seems about the same to me, but the indoor sunlight lamp looked more stable, which made me relax. On their website they claim that the ballast on these lamps runs at 50,000 cycles per second, which is very fast. I believe this accounts for the perceived stability, and I'm willing to bet a typical CFL runs much lower. Overall it doesn't beat the light quality of some M16 halogen bulbs and maybe some select LEDs like Soraa in MP16 either. However, these are standard, high-efficiency screw-base bulbs, so I won't compare them. The CFL is the best I've seen at this color temperature. At 30 watts you need a fixture that looks acceptable with such a bright light source. I use a tall floor lamp so the only visible light is that reflected off the ceiling. If you use a lamp, you need a very large lampshade or consider a smaller light bulb. Update: Many years have passed and although this lamp has never let me down, newer and better LED lamps have taken the place of this lamp in my home. The color temperature of 5000K is difficult to achieve with other light sources.
