Bright but fluorescent, not really sunny. BUT! I will say it does the job. When I turn on this lamp I feel motivated, happy and full of energy. And my cats love it too. I will try it on my plants.

Works but, 2 months of use and completely dead! I used this for a UV sensor lamp for an application I was building. Left it on for about 4 hours a day and two short months later it stopped working. I think I wasted my money on this. I don't recommend it.

I have a very dark basement and that's where my washer/dryer is. I have 4 of these in my basement and it's such a bright and sunny day! They arrived in 2 days in a well protected box with bubble wrap around the lamp packaging! I bought another one for my son because he has seasonal depression and he said it helps him.

Priced at over $20 and comes with over 10,000 hours of advertising. These lamps were a big disappointment. For this price, there are much better and brighter options out there.

I also have 5000K TCP lamps with a claimed color rendering index of 82%. I will say that the indoor sunlight lamp looks much better.
