My husband and I live in South Florida and love mangoes. 15 years ago we planted nine trees and today they produce hundreds of mangoes from June to September. There was no way I could freeze that much, so I decided to buy a dehydrator. There was plenty to choose from so I read some reviews and settled on Gourmia. That works great! It contains nine easy-to-clean trays. The machine is quiet and I just press one button and it automatically runs at the perfect temperature for 10 hours and then shuts itself off. I put the trays in the top rack of the dishwasher and they sparkle. You can watch the drying process through the transparent front sliding door and the aroma is just heavenly. I highly recommend this excellent dehydrator and plan to try other recipes once mango season is over. Everyone who tries dried mango LOVES the texture and taste. The Coastal Breeze newspaper on Marco Island ran an article about my dehydrating mango and used some photos.
