Decent fan. Not as quiet as expected.
I bought this fan to add extra cooling to my switch which is in a potentially very hot environment. I already had some old Apple USB charging cubes that I wasn't using, it was cheaper to buy one. Keep it significantly cooler to keep me happy. I downgraded it to 3 stars because of the noise. It is by no means a silent fan. I didn't care since that switch is out of earshot, but they seem designed to cool AV gear. I would be very disappointed with the noise level of this fan, even at the lowest settings, if I had it everywhere I used AV equipment.
