Unreliable!: Data storage

I bought three of these devices and after much frustration gave up two of them. After thousands of images are copied onto it, they appear unformatted. I reformatted them to other file systems and they still failed. As an IT professional, I've used hundreds of flash drives and this is the worst I've ever tried.
