Review on πŸ’» Logitech iPad Pro 10.5 inch Keyboard Case - SLIM COMBO with Detachable, Backlit & Wireless Keyboard, Smart Connector (Black) by Brandon Fernandez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Update: I'm writing this review using a keyboard that I just received.

Out of the box it's very easy to set up (maybe because I'm using a Smart Connector) and I already type on it more than I do on an Apple keyboard because of it's responsiveness and the keys provide feedback. You can adjust screen brightness, key brightness, sound and more with keyboard shortcuts - LOVE IT! Many buyers write that the keyboard and case make the iPad significantly heavier. I don't understand how this is possible as I believe the iPad Pro is already pretty heavy on the iPad. Anyway, I weighed it with a suitcase in my hand and didn't feel any difference at all. With the keyboard added with the case, it actually feels lighter than when I have an Apple keyboard attached. So far I've made two mistakes in writing this review which have been automatically corrected, not bad! The footrest on the back is great and can be adjusted to your liking for viewing pleasure. It also has a great pencil holder (wish it had a pencil cap holder too). I like the overall feel of the entire case when closed - it feels like my iPad is protected. The back has a texture that I like too. I will update this review as I use it more often. I use it for work quite a bit, so I look forward to giving you more options. Worth the $89 I just paid (up from the $129 for the apple) - absolutely. I love it so far. I like to write on it and will use it often. Update: Well I've had this keyboard for 4 weeks now and I have mixed feelings. It's definitely amazing to type on, I love the black backlit keys, it makes it very easy to work with the lights off at all times and it's not noisy. I've only taken it to work once :/ Reason why: in my bag the keyboard kept popping up and rocking sideways causing my iPad to turn on and drain its battery. The keyboard appears to be too heavy for the magnetic strip that mates with the Smart Connector. It's also very clumsy. It's definitely not flimsy and adds a lot of weight to the iPad over a couple of hours of wear (which didn't bother me at first). Now that I'm home, I prefer to tap and connect to my iPad simply because it's so convenient. I love it! But I bought it so I don't have to travel a lot for work; but it's too much weight and bulk to do that. Whenever I work outside the home, I take my Apple Smart Keyboard with me because it stays thin and easy to carry. I wish this keyboard was a little thinner and I also wish the Smart Connector was a little more durable. I also tried to show the gaps in the photos and how easy it can be detached from the Smart Connector.
