The given rating is NOT true.

15 amps/1875 watts is critical for my use including a 1500 watt unit. The circuit breaker tripped repeatedly when trying to use the device. While I don't have the ability to directly measure power draw or current, my other 1875W power strips have no problem with this load. Very disappointing.
