I like using flip charts but I always had to bring coasters. I broke this presentation on this stand. This is fantastic. It's light yet strong enough to hold a whole stack of papers and I had no trouble turning the pages. The stand is easy to assemble. The small material that folds out to secure the bottom of the pillow doesn't fit my very large pillow, but the paper stays in place easily and the fold-out material tucks away easily so it's out of the way. There are a few hooks at the top that went through the holes in my paper notebook to secure everything. The box it came in was strong enough to be reused for storage between uses. It would be nice to get a carrying case for it, but at this price it's probably a bit difficult! Some reviewers said the stand is very high. Well I'm 5'10" and he wasn't my height so I'm not sure why they are taller than me. I would have no hesitation in recommending for light, low or medium use. Care for it and it should last a long time.
