Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 4 Slim 500 GB HDD, black by Stanislaw Szczesny ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

Unless you can't get enough of Mario games and Nintendo's other exclusives, this is the best console money can buy. The PS5 is on the horizon, but in my opinion, the launch lineup will be weak, therefore it's still worthwhile to invest in a PS4 at this time. This edition, in particular, is problematic because 500 GB is soon depleted, the PS4 Pro is only useful if you already own a 4K television, and even then, only for a select few titles. There are other apps for streaming movies and television series, however they don't have all we'd like. Since the console is technically a very old device with a picture in games that leaves much to be desired and the very high cost of games quickly compensates for any cost difference between PC and console, I don't see any reason to take it if you already have a productive PC and you play really a lot. This is especially true now that it appears that Sony, like Microsoft, has picked up the trend to gradually phase out exclusives. Take a PS4 if you are a low-key "casual" gamer who only plays games like football and fighting games with a group of friends or to unwind a few times a week in the evening. Using it as a "home theater" is a waste of time; instead, consider an Apple TV.

Pros
  • Game optimization is typically superior on this platform compared to the PC, due to its uniform setting (with the caveat that the standard here is 30 frames per second rather than 60). - Also great for watching TV shows, movies, and other videos - a Blu-ray Disc (BD) player and software that supports them, such as Neftlix - The DualShock 4 is the most ergonomic controller available. This is really fascinating. The console's Remote Play feature enables mobile device-based gameplay.
Cons
  • The further away, the more archaic the games look technically (Red Dead Redemption 2 makes you want to cry). - Online payment - The console itself (as opposed to the games) does not always have the most user-friendly interface. - Not sure whether this is a typical issue, but my system made a lot of noise while playing - Games are pricey, especially new and high-quality ones.
